Electrical & Automation Services

As automation was introduced to the manufacturing industry, electrical controls changed from simple pushbuttons and switches, relays and motor speed controls to HMIs, PLCs and VFDs. At Ambeau-Amos, our electrical controls department has extensive experience in all of these areas, allowing us to provide a complete control system can take advantage of all of the latest technology.

Control Panels

Ambeau-Amos will design and build control panels to your requirements. If you have panels that are obsolete, unreliable, unsafe or just not good enough, we can design and manufacture a replacement.
Our control panels are CAD designed, and logically laid out. All wiring is clearly color coded and numbered.

Variable Frequency Drives

A Variable Frequency Drive, or VFD, is a device used to control the speed of an AC motor by controlling the operating frequency.
A VFD will make a motor run more efficiently, and reduces stress on the motor bearings and windings. This equates to energy saving and a longer lasting piece of equipment.
Ambeau-Amos can integrate VFDs into your existing motor control systems.

Motion Control

Todays automation systems usually incorporate motion control/servo systems. Ambeau-Amos has designed many custom machines using this technology. From simple conveyor movement to precise positioning, we can design and build a motion control system to meet your requirements.

Our capabilities include:

 Siemens 611U
 Allen-Bradley Ultra 3000
 Omron W Series
 Schneider Altivar

Industrial Networking

Finding an electrical controls company to install a VFD, PLC or servo system is easy. Finding one that can make all of these technologies communicate with each other is not.
Ambeau-Amos has the experience and technical knowledge necessary to integrate all of your control equipment with an industrial network. Using a network such as profibus, devicenet or ethernet just to name a few, we can eliminate the need for the huge amount of wiring usually needed to make these components communicate with each other.
Using an industrial network, we can connect your devices together providing for a simpler, more reliable system.
