Coiling And Winding

Ambeau-Amos hose coiling and winding machines feature advanced PLC and servo control for high speed coiling and winding of virtually any size hose. The superior design allows us to offer a machine for any specific application.

Available in both automatic and semi-automatic versions, our coiling and winding equipment can be custom engineered and tailored to suit your needs.

Planetary Cabler

Our planetary cabler is capable of holding up to 20 spools of virtually any type of hose. An indexing mechanism allows for easy loading and unloading. Payoff spools are mounted in rotating cradles that hold the axis of the spool in a fixed direction as the spools are revolved around a central axis.

Yarn Lapper

The Ambeau-Amos Yarn Lapping Machine is designed for precision braiding of extruded plastic and rubber hoses. Designed to operate with minimum vibration and noise. Dual safety interlocked doors allow easy access to spools.

Cable Wrapper

Maintenace free rotating head provides years of trouble free operation. DC drive for infinite speed control from minimum to maximum. Disk brakes provide adjustable wrapping tension.

CaterPuller

Ambeau-Amos' complete line of caterpullers are suitable for a variety of applications. The caterpuller is not only used as a haul-off unit for extrusion lines, but can also be used for wire and cable. It is fitted with two drive belts controlled by a variable frequency AC drive unit. The unit can be programmed for either constant speed or constant torque mode. Custom designs are available.
